The Art Of Moulded Plaster

Plastered bands and sills transposed from Italy

These intricate moulded plaster bands were created from templates hand cut by our plasterers.

The pattern is a duplicate of the original style as photographed by our client while on holiday in the Tuscany region of Italy.  The bas relief wall panels were also copied from the original house.

For the sake of uniformity, archways which are repeated also require a specific template to ensure that each arch appears the same as even slight variations are visible to the eye once the work is completed.
